Dear SOCC Parents and Guardians,
Each year, SOCC participants are asked to complete a non-academic student survey made available through the New Hampshire Department of Education evaluating 21st Century Community Learning Center afterschool programs. Student survey responses help improve the SOCC’s afterschool program and the experience of participating youth.
Student participation in survey completion is voluntary. Attached is a sample of the survey that students will be asked to complete. A copy of this letter and the survey are also available on the SOCC’s website (www.dhasocc.org). The voluntary survey will be administered beginning March 6, 2017 through March 31, 2017.
Parents and legal guardians may decide to opt out of their student participating in the survey. If you do not wish for your student to participate, please speak with Brandy Barshaw, SOCC Project Coordinator, or Stacey Kearns, SOCC Program Director, by March 6, 2017. A form will be available for your signature if you wish to opt out or you may submit a written request.
If you have any questions regarding the survey, please feel free to contact me.
